Walking tours are frequently led by former mill workers who possess first-hand knowledge of the history of these old brick buildings. Observe the unique architecture of a cotton house, among the towering walls of a weave shed, and visit the unique underground canals where the Saco River once powered these historic textile mills.
Tours are designed for those able to climb minimal stairs. Walking shoes should be worn. Tours may not be appropriate for young children.
